Xavier SPATAFORA is an artist whose raw materials are space and time … Born July 26, 1973 in Noumea, Pacific Ocean. Xavier Spatafora was born in Noumea in New Caledonia some forty years ago. He left New Caledonia at the age of two and has no conscious memory of it. But today he readily says that the simple fact of being born on a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific, on the other side of the Earth, marked his childhood enormously and undoubtedly counted in his journey and on his way of understanding the world and people. It is part of his unconscious, of his personal mythology.
