Medium wood, pigments including kaolin. Rare mask of the company “Okuyi” depicting an enigmatic female face covered with kaolin, eyes narrowed and oblique in the alignment of blackened eyebrows, mouth ajar and hairstyle with big mats. We can note the beautiful and deep internal size and traces of use. Height: 26 cm. Condition: Slight restorations (the lower lip), a shine with lack in the back, wear. Provenance: Collected by a French engineer during the construction of the Congo-Océan railway.
