Daniel Lacomme Former student and teacher of the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris is a painter. His abstract painting on paper on a part of the canvas seeks color and light in a powerful and precise gesture. There are two levels of realization in my painting. An initial gesture takes possession of the space. It must ensure the cohesion of the form and the general dynamism. However, pure gesture and composition must be reconciled as the two terms of an eternal dialectic. In the slowness of the reflection that allows the retreat, on the contrary, it is then a question of finding the equilibrium, of adding, subtracting, completing and bringing to an end the plastic potentialities that have appeared.
